Colin is on track will gradually lowering of his blood test. Looking well and enjoying life. Due next week for his hospital clinic appointment. Thank goodness the days of his total exhaustion are gone. Those days of afternoon sleeps like a baby are gone.
Talking of babies, we are due next April to have our first grandchild. Even more exciting it is going to be a girl. We can't wait. I am researching daily online about the best baby nursery and travel items to buy. Back 30 years ago there wasn't so much choice or info. I have learnt heaps about the new trends. Swaddles, sleep sacks etc. When to use, what not to do. How on earth did we bring up 3 boys. Have you seen the equipment you can purchase now???
Nick was a little shocked at the prices but in my way I have purchased excellent quality trademe items at a great price and some secondhand toys that are a fraction of the price. Some will only be used for 6 months so I am always on the hunt for a bargain.
With all the wet weather it has set me back on outside maintenance. Tackling it with gusto this week. Unfortunately our shower leak finally had to be fixed. Big Bill to come!! But with a hole in the ensuite and decisions on new flooring it has been a disruptive time. We have moved downstairs because the ensuite is not functioning and the dust and mould could be dangerous for Colin. I can't sleep in the single bed and the traffic noise and cat scratching at our door doesn't help any.
