Graduation day
Thursday
Colin had a bad night last night due to us cutting back on the anti nausea meds. By the time we sorted it he was weak and sick. Anti nauseas on board and insulin and a sandwich and he was better.
Scared me and I couldn't sleep all night worrying.
Today we had to get into Aotea centre for the afternoon graduation ceremony. Once we got into the civic I decided to use the disability card for parking as Colin couldn't walk too far. My bag of emergency supplies and off to lunch. Bother but the two restaurants we planned on were closed so short of time we had Chinese at the closest but next best option.
Colin waited for us in the warmth of the Aotea Centre while Cam and I went to Albert Park for photos with his friends.
The guest speaker for the day was John Campbell who was entertaining and enjoyable to listen to.
We can't believe that our 3 boys now have their degrees. Cameron , a bachelor of Computer and information science. It does seem a while ago now that he was 2 months premature and having episodes of apnoea which caused ongoing problems. How far have we come from that ordeal???
